ABOUT VANTAGE ADVISORY SERVICES Thomas de Petra, president of Vantage Advisory Services, has been advising companies for more than 25 years. Former president and owner of First Financial Investor Relations and founder of De Petra & Associates, Inc., he is a seasoned business advisor , former public company CEO, turnaround CEO, COO and entrepreneur in the financial communications and publishing industries. Mr. de Petra has assisted company boards in investor communications programs, crisis management, corporate governance programs and turnaround strategies. He is skilled in developing and executing business plans, capital formation strategies and public relations campaigns. He has focused heavily on creating solutions for improving board performance and developing tools for strategy management. Vantage Advisory Services is the founding member of the Twin Cities-based Corporate Performance Group, a network of professionals specializing in high performance best business practices.
Mr. de Petra is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Winland Electronics, Inc. (Amex: "WEX"). He chairs the Nominating and Governance Committee and serves on the audit committee and compensation committee. He is also on the Board of Directors of Allureis Inc. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
